Meadow, 16 year old daughter of Paul Walker came out claiming the terrific crash of his father’s car to Porsche. She filed a lawsuit against the car manufacturer.
Paul Walker died in the year 2013. His daughter claimed the wrongful death of his father due to certain design blemishes contributing his ultimate demise. As per her claims, 2005 Carrera GT had design faults and her father was alive when the car caught fire and then crashed horrifically. However, the lawsuit says that the F&F star did not die of the impact of hitting the vehicle a concrete lamppost and some trees by his driver. Report says that Paul Walker was alive even when that sports car caught fire.
The Probe
Lawyers of Meadow claimed that the sports car crashed and Walker was thrashed by thousand pounds of force hitting his ribs and pelvis. Further, the star fought for his life for one and a half minute when the car caught fire. The lawyers alleged that Walker breathed soot into his trachea while the car burnt.
The lawsuit said that the vehicle at that time was driving between 63 and 71 MPH. They also said that Porsche was aware of the features and its history such as history, instability and control issues of Carrera GT. Meadow’s lawyers also claimed that this problem was known to the manufacturer and it could have been easily rectified by installing a stability management system. The stability management system has been standardized for other models as well.
According to Meadow’s legal representatives alleged that fuel lines placement was the reason of eruption of sports car. An attorney on behalf of Meadow, Jeff Milam said that Porsche Carrera GT does not belong on the street and it is not a safe car.
